Bonus Exercise for Wednesday, the 18th

a) Each of you is to sketch three parti diagrams  for your house design. It is fine to make three variations of a singular conceptual idea.  I just don’t want you getting too stuck to a particular idea at this point

 

b) You are also to make one conceptual massing model of your favorite parti that conveys the general idea very clearly. Have fun with this and use any materials you can imagine and be creative. Scan your sketches and take photos of your models and have them on your website.

 

c)  Write two sentences for each idea that explain  the primary objectives of the design in order  to create a scheme which blocks the winter wind, while allowing summer winds from the south to penetrate throughout
