METHOD OF ASSESSMENT                      

In addition to successful completion of the following exercises, a short written specification on the responsive structure/system will be required.  Students will work in teams of TWO.

 

 

FOUR PROBLEM EXERCISES

(15%) Exercise 1 Physical modelling of kinetic object focusing on mechanics

(15%) Exercise 2 Physical modelling of application design

(20%) Exercise 3 Physical model augmented with BASIC Stamp servo control (engineering)

(50%) Exercise 4 Physical model of Interactive Kinetic System demonstrating responsive behaviour
