Product Insulcoat
Type Reflective paint coating
Reference Here is where you can find more information
Product Summary:

INSULCOAT is a new coating technology that is applied like ordinary paint but achieves up to 44% efficiency in reflecting the suns radiant heat energy.

INSULCOAT costs only a little more than high quality paint, but can significantly reduce building capital costs and running costs

  • By reducing room temperatures you can eliminate the need to install expensive airconditioning units.
  • You can reduce air conditioning operating costs by up to 30%
  • You can increase productivity and performance, plus lower absenteeism with an improved working/ living environment

Product Summary:

Insulcoat is a waterborne acrylic emulsion based product, designed to decrease temperature within a building or structure. It works by reflecting the scalar radiation (heat) from the sun, away from the surface to which it is applied.

The addition of Insulcost Heat Reflective Paint to the exterior of a building, stops up to 94% of the heat from entering. By stopping the heat outside the building, rather than conventional methods of insulation, which only slow the rate of heat transfer through the building, temperature inside are decreased remarkably.

By decreasing the temperature within the structure, air conditioning costs will be reduced dramatically with both the time of operation of the air conditioner, and the amount of heat to be dispersed minimised.

Tests have shown that Insulcoat has reduced the inside temperature by a building by up to 20 degrees Celsius. This will result in a marked decrease in the running costs of air conditioners and an increase in the overall living/working conditions inside factories, warehouse, offices and homes.

With a minimal inital capital outlay, the reduction of operating costs, and no maintenance, insulcoat has an economical pay back period of only a few years.

The innovative technology used in Insulcoat Heat Reflective Paint, not only helps your bottom line, it also helps the environment, by minimising the amount of greenhouse gas emissions, and the use of electricity over long periods of time.

Architectural Applications:

Can be used as a coating on light shelves and ceilings to filter a comfortabe ammount of natural light into a building or space.
