The purpose of making the kitchen countertop of resin was to give the office a more refine and artistic feel to it and to allow more light by installing lights into the resin.

The choice of a resin system for use in any component depends on a number of its characteristics, with the following probably being the most important for most composite structures:
 Adhesive Properties , Mechanical Properties,  Micro-Cracking resistance,  Fatigue Resistance,  Degradation from Water Ingress
