Due Friday, 02/10

The exercise will be assessed on the following criteria:

60%        Content
30%        Presentation
10%        Timeliness

Part1: Material Study
Document the following:

Research:
The name of the product
The type of the product (AIA MasterFormat material classification – metal, glass, plastic etc. )
The reference to the product (weblink or book)
A brief text summary of the product  (200 words or less)
Photos of the product
Photos of the product in various architectural applications
Design:
A brief text summary in your own words of how and why the material is used in your application (200 words or less)
Two images of your application in your collective office design

Presentation:
You can begin to gather the above information.
A format will be provided for you next week when I return to fill in so that it is all standardized.
Your two application images need not be larger than 600 x 600 pixels.
Your two application images must clearly convey how the material is used in your application.  I suggest you make a small 3-d model.
