The fans are a public art project that can visualize several different data sets at the same time. The can serve as a clock (by the number of fans that are rotating), they can tell the weather (by the coloring of lights behind the fans), they can respond to the number of people looking at the sculpture (by changing their speed) and they can respond to the number of internet users (by also varying their speed).
