The Water Pavilion is in the context of PolyU campus. The location is the small garden in front of the library where a lot of people gathering. The main function of the pavilion is for people to refill water and providing a shelter for those who are waiting there. The roof of the pavilion is composed of six pieces, which can open and close to interact with people density and climate. When the sensor feels there are a lot of people or it is raining, it will tell small computer installed under the ground to control movement of the roof pieces. When it opens, the action is just like the process of a raindrop dropping on the surface and splashing out, so the space under the roof is bigger to accommodate more people.
